In the past few winters, there was not much snow, however, it is different this year. Upon the arrival to the IBU World Championships Biathlon 2021 Pokljuka, the best biathletes have been welcomed by a big amount of snow, and in the next few days, even more snow has fallen. But, a true winter wonderland also means low temperatures, and that is why warm clothes and especially gloves are of keen importance.
Numerous best world’s biathletes trust the KinetiXx gloves, which are fabricated by the German company W+R from Metzingen. Norwegian Johannes Thingnes Bø, who already has a gold from the Pokljuka mixed relay event, and French Quentin Fillon Maillet, one of the Sunday’s favourites, are among the ones that thrust KinetiXx. French Martin Fourcade, five-time Olympic champion and multiple World Cup winner, was also competing wearing KinetiXx gloves.
Helmut Hanus, the representative of the KinetiXx, says that is it a great honour to be a silver partner of the IBU. “We wish a lot of sporting success and exciting races to the local hero Jakov Fak, and all our KinetiXx athletes,” Hanus said.
KinetiXx gloves are also indispensable for numerous volunteers who are ensuring that the World Championships runs without complications. These days, temperatures are more or less around two-digit number below freezing.
