Registration for places in the virtual stands has already started on the website triglav.si/pokljuka. It is possible to enlist for each race until 4 pm on the preceding day of the start of the race. After the successful registration, individuals will receive the link to the online meeting app which will enable them to share their cheering experience in real-time.
Slovene biathlete Klemen Bauer has invited people to cheer on them virtually. “At the time when fans cannot be with us at the stadiums, their support has become even more important for us. I am extremely pleased that also now we have the support of biathlete fans of all generations. We will feel every shout of cheering, and I believe that this will help us achieve good results.“
After eight years, the campaign Children of Triglav in Poljuka has also become virtual. Since the beginning of the campaign, more than 15,000 young sports fans have had the opportunity of cheering in Pokljuka. However, this year, children will be able to virtually support the best athletes at four races. Furthermore, the insurance company Zavarovalnica Triglav has prepared the contest called The best poster where children will compete for the best cheering poster. Tjaša Koleny Filipčič, director of marketing at insurance company Zavarovalnica Triglav, is convinced that sports fans of all ages will create a great atmosphere and help athletes achieve great results.
