The IBU World Championships Biathlon 2020 Antholz/Anterselva is one of the first opportunities for fans to get a glimpse of the next World Championships 2021 Pokljuka. Anterselva hosts the House Pokljuka at the so-called Medal Plaza and the Biathlon Tour Mobil at the Biathlon Center.
Grand Opening programme on 12 February 2020 hosted “oberkreiner” ensemble Veseli Begunjčani.
Anterselva fans are also the target audience of Pokljuka organizers, who have rented 200 square meters of space on the outskirts of the central venue for evening award ceremonies. House Pokljuka is the first on the right side at the entrance to the plaza, and primarily intended for the promotion of the WCH 2021. Until the end of the Championships, you can also buy package tickets at the Ticket Shop infront of the House Pokljuka.
The house itself offers a number of Slovenian culinary delights, as many producers have recognized Anterselva as an attractive location for promoting their own brands. The project includes Radgonske gorice, Celjske mesnine, Pivovarno Laško and Argeta paté.
The house will remain open until 23 February, when the event organizers will take over the official flag of the International Biathlon Federation from this year’s event organizers.
Biathlon Tour Mobil is also a permanent feature of this year’s World Cup.
